Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Acute Float Pool

Location: Lions Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, BC

Position Type: Regular Part-Time, 0.69 FTE, 25.88 hours per week.

Salary: CAD $32.84 – $41.35 per hour.

Licensed Practical Nurses will work independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team to provide high‑quality patient care across a variety of settings within Lions Gate Hospital.

• Perform the full scope of practical nursing functions for clients with predictable outcomes within a designated specialty area.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document client care, supporting clients and their families.
• Collaborate with team members and provide assistance to Registered Nurses for clients with unpredictable outcomes or higher acuity, as required.
• Maintain clinical competence in accordance with BCCNM standards.

• Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurse program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others and organize work efficiently.
• Physical ability to carry out job duties and operate related equipment.
