Position: VCH Public Health Nurse Role

As a Public Health Nurse with VCH, you will be instrumental in promoting health and wellbeing across various community settings. This position requires recent public health nursing experience and offers the opportunity to work with prenatal, children, youth, and adults. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring equitable healthcare and addressing social determinants affecting community health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver prevention and early intervention health services

• Build and maintain community and interdisciplinary partnerships

• Provide assessments and screenings for diverse populations

• Advocate for clients and respond to health needs

• Implement health promotions grounded in equity and inclusivity

Requirements:

• BCCNM registered as a Registered Nurse

• Two years of relevant public health nursing experience

• Relevant specialty nursing certifications

• Valid BC Driver's license with access to a personal vehicle

• Strong communication skills for effective client interactions
