Position: Clinical Nurse Advisor for TB Management

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and have 3-5 years’ experience in public health nursing. This role emphasizes expertise in tuberculosis case management, including screening and treatment planning within the framework of Indigenous cultural safety. Your ability to build relationships will be pivotal in mentoring community health nurses and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee TB case management from start to finish

• Foster relationships with community health professionals

• Implement screening and treatment procedures following guidelines

• Provide mentorship to health teams addressing TB

• Support holistic health practices honoring Indigenous perspectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or comparable qualification

• Registered with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• Experience in public health nursing (3-5 years)

• Proficient in communicable disease control

• Strong independent decision-making capabilities
