Licensed Practical Nurse at VCH

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide exceptional patient care. This role requires working collaboratively within a dedicated interdisciplinary team across diverse specialty areas.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at VCH, you will practice according to the standards set by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). You will undertake full nursing responsibilities, including assessing and documenting client care while supporting Registered Nurses in complex care situations. This position emphasizes effective communication, organization, and clinical competence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and document care for clients with predictable outcomes

• Support Registered Nurses with complex or unpredictable cases

• Plan and implement patient care plans effectively

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal care

• Maintain clinical competence per BCCNM standards

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurse program

• Current registration with BCCNM

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Physical ability to perform nursing duties

• Organizational skills to manage care tasks
