Landscape Technician - Enhancements Lead Hand

Our ideal candidate is a passionate landscaping professional with 2-3 years of hands‑on experience in landscape enhancements. They are either Red‑Seal Certified in Horticulture, actively pursuing horticulture training, or open to starting their Red‑Seal training. They take pride in delivering high‑quality work, love being outdoors, and thrive in a team environment. Friendly and reliable, they are comfortable interacting with clients and are always focused on safety, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.

- Assist in leading small to mid‑size crews on enhancement projects
- Perform and lead planting, garden bed installs, soil prep, mulching, and minor landscape renovations
- Read and accurately execute design plans and layouts
- Ensure quality, aesthetics, and craftsmanship meet company standards
- Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Provide guidance and on‑the‑job support to Assistants
- Coordinate daily workflow, materials, and equipment needs
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional job site
- Communicate clearly with the Foreperson and clients as required
- Step in to support or cover for the Foreperson when they are unavailable
- 2 to 3 years of experience in landscape enhancements/softscape work
- Red Seal Certification in Horticulture, currently enrolled in horticulture training, or open to starting your training with us
- Strong hands‑on knowledge of planting, soil preparation, and landscape installations
- Experience guiding or mentoring junior crew members
- Comfortable taking initiative and responsibility on site
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
$29.00 - $32.00
