Lead the QA division at Dark Vision in North Vancouver, BC, focusing on hardware, firmware, and software products. You'll enhance product reliability while fostering innovation in a hands-on leadership role.
As QA Manager, you will mentor staff and develop test strategies essential for validating real-world applications. This position involves collaboration with Engineering and Product teams to ensure high-level quality assurance and risk management. You will drive continuous improvement while balancing testing coverage with speed and practicality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the QA team in software and hardware testing
• Define and refine QA strategies centered on risk and customer outcomes
• Manage test planning with focus on speed and coverage
• Ensure customer issues are reproduced and resolved
• Integrate testing with CI/CD pipelines
Requirements:
• 5+ years of QA leadership experience
• Background in software testing of complex systems
• Familiarity with hardware and low-level software testing
• Experience with test planning and defect tracking tools
• Strong communication skills to convey risks and solutions
