NDT Data Management Technician

Join Seaspan Shipyards as an NDT Data Management Technician to maintain critical NDT databases and ensure quality reports during vessel construction. This full-time role is essential for optimizing NDT processes.

In this position, you will oversee NDT databases, guarantee the accuracy of records, and coordinate vital communication with stakeholders. You will be instrumental in implementing new performance metrics and ensuring timely report delivery while handling NDT requests efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

• Review and update NDT documentation for accuracy

• Implement new NDT databases and performance metrics

• Communicate findings to resolve document-related issues

• Maintain NDT delivery schedules and performance metrics

• Generate weekly progress reports for the NDT Supervisor

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in steel structure manufacturing

• NDT certification (CWB VT1 required, CGSB MT2 desirable)

• Bachelor’s degree or technical certification preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
