Security Guard

Position: Flexible Security Guard at Seaspan
Seaspan is hiring a Casual Security Guard for its North Vancouver Shipyards. Be part of a pivotal team responsible for ensuring safety through flexible day and night shifts.

This role is vital in protecting our facilities while performing security patrols, access control, and safety monitoring for CCTV and fire systems. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills and a Security Workers License to effectively manage site security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor site access for personnel and visitors

• Perform routine patrols to preempt security issues

• Facilitate access to secured areas for staff

• Oversee CCTV and fire monitoring systems

• Assist in managing emergency situations with the ERT

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education with 3–5 years security experience

• Valid Driver’s License and Security Workers License

• Completion of First Aid Level 2 or 3 certification

• Must be flexible for various work shifts

• Ability to independently make decisions
