Our Security Guards hold a dynamic role in a unique work environment. This customer-facing role has the crucial responsibility of making passengers feel safe and secure as they travel from coast to coast.

• Ensure the safety and security of ferry terminals and onboard vessels
• Act as a visible security presence and deterrent to support a safe environment
• Engage with the public to provide assistance, direction, and exceptional customer service
• Perform security procedures including unlock/lock-up checks and routine inspections
• Operate communication tools such as radios and escalate incidents as necessary
• Identify, report, and help mitigate safety hazards
• Support passenger safety and satisfaction during coast-to-coast travel

• Valid BC Security License
• Must have a personal vehicle and be comfortable driving to Horseshoe Bay (West Vancouver)
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable with radio communication
• Ability to write reports on job-related activities
• Comfort working independently and in varying weather conditions
• Punctuality and reliability
• Physically capable of standing and walking for a duration of 8 hours

We offer a range of shifts and availabilities, including days and overnights, and offer full-time, part-time, or on-call employment opportunities.
