BC Ferries is seeking a Marine Tactical Security Guard responsible for the safety of passengers and crew aboard vessels. Utilizing strong communication skills, you will monitor for suspicious behavior and respond proficiently to emergencies. Maintaining a proactive security presence is key, as well as providing exceptional customer service throughout coastal journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety aboard BC Ferries vessels

• Monitor for suspicious activities via static patrols

• Respond to safety concerns and emergencies efficiently

• Act as a visible security presence for passengers

• Assist the public with exceptional customer service

Requirements:

• Valid BC Security License and AST training

• OFA Intermediate certification is essential

• Driver's license and reliable vehicle required

• Strong communication abilities and report writing

• Physical ability to stand and walk for over 8 hours
