In this dynamic position, the Marine Security Guard is responsible for the safety and security of all aboard vessels.

Your role includes monitoring for suspicious activities, responding to emergencies, and acting as a reassuring security presence. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively assist and direct passengers throughout their journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain safety and security on vessels

• Conduct patrols to monitor activities

• Respond to disturbances and escalate as needed

• Provide customer service and support to passengers

• Carry out security inspections and lock/unlock procedures

Requirements:

• Must possess BC Security License and AST

• OFA Intermediate training is essential

• Valid Driver License and personal vehicle

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and under pressure
