Position: Support Worker for Youth with Challenges
Join Strive Living Society as a Specialized Support Worker and provide essential support for youth dealing with diverse challenges in North Vancouver. This role emphasizes behavior management and creating a stable environment for growth.

Located in North Vancouver, this position is focused on providing specialized care for children and youth with varying needs, including mental health issues and developmental delays. You will assist in developing life skills while fostering independence and developing trust-based relationships. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of those you support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with children in a supportive 2:1 setting

• Manage challenging behaviors through constructive methods

• Ensure safety while transporting youth to community activities

• Follow health protocols and maintain documentation

• Collaborate with other professionals for comprehensive care

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License needed

• At least 1 year of relevant experience

• Must clear Criminal Record Check

• Certification in First Aid and CPR is necessary

• Strong English communication skills required
