Position: Creative Social & Recreation Role
Become a pivotal Social and Recreation Coordinator at Shannon Falls Retirement Residence, designing programs that foster connection and well-being among Residents. Your creative input will enhance their daily experiences.

This vibrant role requires you to assess Residents’ needs and implement recreational plans that inspire participation and choice. By building strong relationships with Residents and the community, you promote a welcoming atmosphere. You'll manage volunteer efforts and contribute to safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess program needs and interests of Residents

• Develop and manage engaging recreation programs

• Facilitate a community atmosphere through social activities

• Coordinate volunteer scheduling and support

• Document evaluations and Resident responses

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Therapeutic Recreation program

• At least three years of relevant experience

• Certifications in Serving It Right and Food Safe

• Strong planning, communication, and leadership skills

• Willingness to manage physical activity during work
