Full Stack Engineer

Overview

Blueprint Athlete Development is building a mobile app designed to help athletes and coaches learn faster using video analysis and an AI-powered coaching assistant.

We are looking for a full stack developer (or small development team) to help design and build the first MVP version of this product.

This project blends sports technology, video analysis, and AI coaching tools into a single platform focused on athlete development in mountain biking.

The Blueprint mobile app will combine three core components:

1 - POV footage analysis:
Athletes upload helmet or chest mounted riding footage. Early versions will likely rely on timestamped review and notes, with potential AI-assisted insights in later versions.

2 - 3rd person footage analysis:
Athletes or coaches upload externally filmed riding clips. The MVP will focus on manual video review tools and integrated drawing/paint, with the option to explore computer vision features later.

3 - Blueprint AI Coaching Assistant:
The app will include a chat-based AI assistant trained on Blueprint's coaching philosophy. The assistant should be able to answer questions related to training, skills, and every component that we support. The tone should feel like a Blueprint coach, not a generic AI chatbot.

The first version should focus on a simple but functional MVP.

We are looking for a developer or small team with experience in:

• video upload and processing
• cloud infrastructure
• sports technology
• subscription-based products

We are looking for someone who can:

• help define the MVP architecture
• recommend the best tech stack
• build the first working version of the app
• integrate AI chat functionality
• create a system that can scale as the product grows

This will likely start as a contract project
, with the possibility of a longer-term development relationship.
