This full-time permanent role places you at the forefront of overseeing dock operations while reporting to the General Manager of Lynnterm. Your expertise will enable effective vessel handling and cargo operations while fostering a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency throughout the terminal.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote and oversee workplace safety culture
• Develop and implement cargo handling procedures
• Manage unionized workforce compliance and productivity
• Schedule dock operations to meet demands
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams on operations
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education and industry experience
• Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role
• Deep understanding of safety and cargo operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
