Casual Relief HandyDART Driver Position

Location: Squamish

Join Transdev Canada as a Casual Relief HandyDART Bus Driver in Victoria, BC, and contribute to essential transportation for those with mobility challenges.

Your role ensures passengers' safety, comfort, and respect during all rides.

In this position, you will operate cutaway-style buses, assist with boarding and device securement, and maintain adherence to all local safety standards. Strong commitment to customer service and effective communication are essential. You'll play a key role in providing needed transport for individuals while ensuring a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide courteous door-to-door service to passengers

• Assist with securing mobility aids for safe transit

• Comply with traffic and safety regulations thoroughly

• Facilitate timely arrivals by following assigned routes

• Conduct vehicle checks and keep it clean

Requirements:

• Class 1, 2 or 4 Unrestricted Driver's License required

• Clean driving record with no violations

• Ability to pass necessary background checks

• Experience with accessible transportation preferred

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
