Help make a difference this Christmas as a Kettle Driver for The Salvation Army! This temporary position focuses on the vital task of delivering and collecting donation kettles across the community.
The role starts on November 13, 2026, and requires at least 15 hours of commitment weekly. You’ll engage with the public and staff while ensuring donations are managed securely. Strong organizational skills will aid in scheduling and tracking your routes effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver and pick up kettles punctually
• Assist in securing and counting kettle contents
• Follow a designated schedule or create one as needed
• Provide friendly service to staff and volunteers
• Maintain an accurate daily mileage log
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equal experience
• Personal vehicle and valid BC Driver’s License
• Capacity to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs
• Strong commitment to The Salvation Army’s mission
• Previous related experience preferred
