HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights

Ultimate Workforce are hiring HGV Class 1 Night drivers for work with a professional and friendly haulier. The role involves a straightforward hub run from North Walsham depot to the TPN hub at Swadlincote with the use of a double-deck trailer.
Shift start time:
18:00 start time daily with average shift length 10-12 hours.
Start location:
North Walsham depot.

Minimum 8 hour pay per shift should the driver be sent home

Pay rates:
Monday to Friday PAYE - £18 p/h (Holiday Inclusive)
Monday to Friday LTD - £20 p/h
Daily Role:
Vehicle checks to be completed daily and report any defects accordingly
Ensure load(s) are sufficiently secured before transportation
Any other duties as reasonably required
Essential Requirements:
Full UK driving licence, DQC Qualification and Digital Tacho Card
Experience in class 1 hub runs role
Class 1 commercial driving experience

Experience with double deck trailers
Sound understanding of EU Working Time and Driving Time regulations (Required)
Reliability and punctuality is an essential part of this role
Flexibility and a can-do attitude towards work
Due to the insurance requirements of our client, we cannot accept any applications from drivers who have DD or DR endorsements on their licence.
