About the roleWe're looking for an experienced trainer to join our team as a Training Supervisor. This is an opportunity to play a key part in supporting the recruitment, training, supervision and ongoing development of our volunteers, as well as contributing to the learning and development of paid staff.
You'll support volunteers throughout their time with us, from recruitment and induction through to ongoing supervision and development. You'll build positive relationships with volunteers, provide regular support and feedback, and help them develop their knowledge, skills and confidence.
You'll also contribute to the design and delivery of engaging training sessions and learning programmes for volunteers and staff, both for us and for partner Citizens Advice offices across the country, while helping to coordinate the practical arrangements that make our training programmes run smoothly. Alongside your training responsibilities, you'll work jointly with other supervisors to support the smooth running of the office, including taking responsibility for designated office and Health and Safety duties.
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and able to take ownership of their work, with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in supporting others to learn and develop. This role would suit someone with experience in training, teaching or a similar educational setting.
