Ensuredevelopmentscomplywithcurrentlegislationandplanningobligations. Project Delivery Supportthepre-constructionandconstructionteamswithtechnicaladvice. Attendprojectanddesignteammeetings. Resolvetechnicalqueriesraisedduringconstruction. Managedesignchangeswhileminimisingprogrammeandcostimpacts. Coordinatethereleaseofconstructioninformationinlinewithbuildprogrammes. Risk Management Identifyandmanagetechnicalrisksthroughoutthedevelopmentlifecycle. Ensurecompliancewithcurrent Building Regulations ,the Building Safety Act ,NHBCrequirements,andhealthandsafetylegislation. Monitorconsultantperformanceandtechnicalqualitystandards. Budget Management Controlconsultantappointmentsandfees. Monitortechnicalbudgets. Identifyopportunitiesforvalueengineeringwithoutcompromisingqualityorcompliance. Stakeholder Management Developstrongworkingrelationshipswithinternaldepartmentsincluding Land,Commercial,Construction,Sales,Customer Care,and Planning. Manageexternalconsultantsandspecialistcontractors. Representthecompanyatmeetingswithlocalauthoritiesandstatutorybodies. Quality Assurance Ensuretechnicaldocumentationiscompleteandaccurate. Supportqualityinspectionsandresolvetechnicaldefects. Contributetocontinuousimprovementoftechnicalstandardsandprocesses. Skillsand Experience Essential Technical Manager Experienceina Technical Manageror Senior Technical Coordinatorrolewithina UKresidentialhousebuilder.
Strongunderstandingofresidentialconstructionmethods. KnowledgeofUKBuilding
Regulations,planning legislation,highways,drainage,and utilities. Experiencemanagingmultidisciplinarydesignteams. Abilitytointerpretarchitecturalandengineeringdrawings. Excellentprojectmanagementandorganisationalskills. Strongcommunicationandstakeholdermanagementabilities. FullUKdrivinglicence. Desirable Technical Manager DegreeorHNC/HNDin Civil Engineering ,Construction Management,Architecture,orarelateddiscipline. MembershipofarelevantprofessionalbodysuchasCIOB,ICE,RICS,orCABE.
