Quality Engineer; APQP

Quality Engineer (APQP) | 6 - 12 months | Rate: £37.00 - £40.00p/h (Outside IR35)

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer with strong fundamentals in APQP, PPAP, process control, and delivering structured quality processes into safety-critical engineering environments? Do you enjoy taking ownership of quality work streams, building processes from the ground up, and working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance, manufacturability and operational integrity?

This is a hands-on quality engineering contract, joining at a stage where the project has been running for a few months and is now entering the APQP scoping and process-definition phase. You'll work closely with design, projects, purchasing, quality and supply chain teams to embed structured processes, support MOD Secure by Design requirements, and drive the quality workstream forward.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for progressing the quality and APQP work streams, ensuring robust, compliant and practical processes are implemented across the programme.
