Accounts Manager - Finance

Overview

We are working closely with a business based in Northallerton who are looking for an Accounts Manager to join the mona full‑time contract. Initially for 6 months, with the potential of turning permanent for the right person. The business has recently undergone restructuring, and you will be the main point of contact for account queries, processing day‑to‑day finances, and assisting the wider team.

• Managing both Purchase and Sales Ledgers
• Producing routine reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Support reporting and information for key stakeholders
• Credit control, including chasing and collecting monies due from customers
• Other ad‑hoc work as required to support the Finance function
• New customer set‑up and review of credit terms
• Producing customer invoices and credit notes
• Being a point of contact for any finance queries

• Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• AAT or Accounting degree qualification preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other computer systems and databases
• Ability to use initiative to organise themselves and others to ensure deadlines are met
• A flexible team player with the ability to work proactively
