Senior Group Manager Adult Social Care

Lead the Future of Adult Social Care as a Senior Group Manager in North Yorkshire. North Yorkshire Council is seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Group Manager (Adults) to join our Health and Adult Services Directorate. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for shaping and delivering high-quality adult social care services across the county. You will lead a group of operational managers and oversee services supporting adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and neurodiverse.

With a budget responsibility exceeding £50 million, you'll play a key role in driving transformation, ensuring compliance, and delivering strategic priorities aligned with our Council Plan and HAS 2030 vision.

• Lead on countywide transformation programmes, improving outcomes for adults across North Yorkshire.
• Work in partnership with NHS providers, ICBs, and care collaboratives to deliver integrated, person-centered care.

We are seeking a proven leader with:

• Extensive experience in adult social care or health systems.
• Strong strategic and operational management skills.
• A track record of delivering results through partnership working.
• Deep understanding of statutory frameworks including the Care Act, Mental Health Act, and CQC regulations.
• A professional qualification in social care or health, or equivalent experience.
