We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Horticultural Assistant to join the team in our Strikes Garden Centre.
Our competitive rates of pay range from  £10.40 to  £12.75 per hour dependent on age.
The hours for this position are 38per week over 5days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.
The RoleAs a Horticultural Assistant, you must have specialist plant knowledge and be able provide excellent customer service & to createan exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases
What you will be doing as a Horticultural Assistant?- Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays
- Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers
- Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
- Till operation and serving customers
- Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
- Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
- Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
- Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service.
- Knowledgeable and passionate about plants and plant replated products
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Great teamwork.
