• Conduct thorough assessments of prospective foster carers and present these evaluations to the panel.
• Support and supervise foster carers to ensure the highest standard of care for children and young people.
• Work closely with children and families to provide professional guidance and interventions.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's welfare.
• Maintain case records, ensuring that all information is accurately and promptly updated.
• Engage in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills.

• Degree or equivalent in social work.
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Significant frontline experience within UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker.
• Experience working within a fostering service and completing fostering assessments for presentation at panels.
• Based in Scarborough, with an initial 6-month placement offered.
