Distribution Coordinator

We are working with a client who is seeking an experienced Distribution Co-Ordinator to join their busy logistics and warehouse team in Northallerton.

The successful candidate will support transport planning activities, monitor performance, coordinate collections and deliveries, and provide administrative support across the distribution function. This is a varied role suited to an organised and proactive individual who can remain calm under pressure and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.

The role will also provide the opportunity to develop knowledge across a range of transport-related functions and provide cover across the wider team when required.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a key point of contact for customer service queries relating to collections, deliveries and order fulfilment.
• Monitoring and reporting third-party logistics provider performance, including on-time and in-full collection and delivery performance.
• Preparing daily and weekly performance reports.
• Ensuring warehouse teams have visibility of loading plans within agreed deadlines.
• Analysing customer KPIs and identifying, tracking and addressing root causes of issues.
