Personal Lines Support role at Alera Group, Inc.
OverviewAlera Group is looking for a dependable Part‑Time Personal Lines Support team member to provide essential front‑desk and administrative support. This role is crucial to maintaining smooth office operations, particularly in managing high call volumes and welcoming office visitors. Alera Group was founded in 2017 and has grown to become the 14th largest broker of U.S. business. We are passionate about our clients’ success in Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services, offering national resources combined with local service.
Responsibilities- Serve as phone back‑up to manage incoming calls and office visitors.
- Cover lunch breaks and periods when the Front Desk Coordinator is out of the office.
- Open and close front‑desk duties, including mail collection, sorting, and distribution.
- Post payments in insurance carrier websites.
- Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks to support the Personal Lines Department / NE Region.
- 1 year of Customer Service/Receptionist experience.
- High School diploma.
Location:
On‑site at our office — 8 N King St, Northampton, Massachusetts 01060.
Schedule:
Part‑time, Monday‑Friday, 11:00 AM‑4:30 PM.
Pay: $25 per hour, based on experience.
