Job Description

Reporting to the CM/DM Manager, Specialty Engineering, the Configuration Data team provides configuration and data oversight for assigned program(s). Responsibilities include planning, managing, and reporting on documentation created to fulfill customer configuration and data requirements. The team oversees detailed drawing and documentation reviews and interfaces with Program Management, Engineering, Contracts, Subcontracts, Quality, and other functions supporting the program, including initial releases and formal changes to documentation.

The team ensures the program adheres to established configuration and data management processes.

Essential Functions
  • Review Configuration Management and Data Management Plans.
  • Provide guidance to ensure all documents are reviewed and comply with Program Documentation Standards based on internal and contractual requirements.
  • Review, approve, or reject all formal program documentation.
  • Ensure that all CDRLs and SDRLs are delivered on time, controlled in the CDM database, and distributed in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Ensure CDRLs and SDRLs are received and dispersed to the proper reviewers in a timely manner.
  • Ensure CM/DM personnel have program users assigned data‑item responsibility and are notified when items are due.
  • Create Configuration Status Accounting reports for the program.
  • Participate in Pre‑Testing and Pre‑Delivery Audits, including FCAs/PCAs if required by the contract.
  • Ensure program‑level Configuration Control Boards are established.
  • Review formal configuration management baselines and process potential changes to those baselines.
  • Report on CDRL and/or SDRL deliveries on a monthly basis to L3

    Harris management, reviewing on‑time delivery metrics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of six years of prior relevant experience; or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of four years of prior related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of ten years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance, which requires US citizenship.
  • Prior Configuration and Data Management experience.
  • Experience supporting proposals and proposal cost estimates for Configuration and Data Management.
Preferred Additional Skills
  • Experience with Team Center PLM.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • At least two years of configuration management experience.
  • CM Certification.
Salary and Benefits

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Massachusetts is $86,500 – $160,500. L3

Programs and options may vary based on date of hire, schedule type, and collective bargaining agreements.
