As our Finance Manager, you will be a key member of the onsite leadership team for an exciting and expanding operation.

• Business Partner to Non-Finance stakeholders – Providing weekly performance results and discussing operational impacts and cost saving initiatives
• Oversee and maintain the Nominal Ledger, Fixed Asset Register and Cash Flow.
• Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to complete weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Prepare and post journals, including accruals and prepayments, to ensure month-end close is completed within deadlines.
• Analyse monthly performance against the prior month, budget, and prior year to identify trends and variances.
• Enhance balance sheet transparency and control by performing full monthly reconciliations and promptly resolving any discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including balance sheet and cash flow components.
• Assist with both external and internal audit processes.
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns and reconcile VAT/Corporation Tax accounts.
• Provide ad hoc reports and analysis to assist senior management in decision-making

• Knowledge of supply chain and logistics (desirable).
• AAT qualification, part-qualified CIMA/ACCA, or equivalent preferred, though relevant experience will also be considered.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and evaluation abilities.
• Familiarity with foreign currency transactions and purchase/sales tax (desirable).
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with efficiency.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Capable of addressing complex issues in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Skilled in identifying and managing risks.
• Proficient in reporting and presentation.
• Comfortable working at both detailed and high-level summaries.
• Advanced Excel skills, with knowledge of Sage as an advantage.
• Effective at managing multiple priorities and adapting to change.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
