Since 1938, BHN has been committed to providing high-quality, affordable, and culturally responsive behavioral health care—and we're looking for an experienced Community Coach for the Thrive Intensive Community Wraparound Supports Program.
The Community Coach for Thrive Intensive Community Wraparound Supports Program provides high-quality services to individuals served by BHN. These services are part of a plan designed by the Thrive clinical team.
Key Responsibilities- Provides 1:1 direct services to enrolled individuals to teach coping skills, self-advocacy, job readiness skills, and public safety.
- Works with individuals to increase interest and skills related to social and community activities and helps them develop independent living skills including personal hygiene, home maintenance, activities of daily living, and other functional skills as assessed.
- Implements behavior plans prepared and maintained by the supervising behavioral professional (Positive Behavior Supports Clinician).
- Actively models implementation of strategies for the parent/caregiver of the enrolled individual.
- Monitors plan implementation and reports to the team on its progress.
- Maintains contact with other service providers regarding the individual’s progress as needed.
- Participates in meetings for enrolled individuals and works with other providers to support the services' goals as needed.
- Provides daily documentation of their interactions with the individual served specific to the goal area(s) and all contacts with other providers.

- Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and serious mental illness (SMI) (required).
- Knowledge of behavior analysis, behavior planning, and implementation of behavior plans is preferred. Must be willing to be trained as a Registered Behavior Technician.
- Valid driver’s license with a verified clean driving record required and reliable vehicle available for all working hours.
- Must be over the age of 21.
- Demonstrates willingness and ability to work with client populations from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
$22.00-$30.80 per hour
