Head Start Licensed Dietician; Northampton Community Action Pioneer Valley Access

Head Start Licensed Dietician (Northampton) $7,500 Bonus

Community Action Head Start & Early Learning Programs is looking for a motivated and passionate Licensed Dietitian to join our Early Childhood team to provide nutrition services to our children and families as required by Head Start Performance Standards and USDA guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical nutrition, dietary needs of young children be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.

Job responsibilities include: develop and implement nutrition services for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, menu planning, CACFP monitoring, assessment of nutritional needs of children in the program and consultation. Candidate must be a Licensed Nutritionist or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with 1-year professional experience in a clinical or community setting, pediatric or early childhood preferred. This is a 37.50 hour/week position.

Pay range: $28.40-$30.13.
