Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift 13-week contract requiring an active MA RN license and AHA BLS/ACLS certification.

• Active Massachusetts RN license required; pending or conditional licenses not accepted
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current AHA ACLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
• Strong technical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start via NURSYS and BON

• Med/Surg unit (North
  3) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 19:00-07:30
• 13-week contract assignment
• May be asked to float outside the unit for basic tasks (vital signs, IV placement, answering phones) without taking a full patient assignment
• Uses Epic for charting
• Deliver patient care through the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and follows established organizational policies
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates may be considered if residing within 60 miles of the facility, at a reduced rate
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
• Timekeeping managed through UKG/Kronos
