Customer Service Associate

Join Walgreens as a Customer Service Associate. This role focuses on delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience and providing efficient checkout service. The position is full‑time and remains open until filled.

$15.00/hr - $17.50/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, efficient checkout service.
• Greet customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve customer issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with all team members, including greeting, eye contact, courtesy, proactive help, and identifying needs.
• Provide efficient and friendly service, recommend items for sale, handle trade‑ups, companion items, returns, voids, and exchanges.
• Maintain counters, shelves, and displays; keep merchandise well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.
• Implement asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss and ensure compliance with state and local laws on regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, promotional and seasonal layouts, and complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separation of food items and stock rotation using first‑in, first‑out.
• Understand store systems and equipment; provide customer service in the photo area (digital passport, prints, etc.).
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities by monitoring orders, filling items, and delivering to customers.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to keep the store clean, neat, and orderly.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
