Job Description
** Youth and Young Adult Career Navigator(Northampton)
** Community Action Pioneer Valley Youth and Workforce Development Programs is seeking a full time (37.5 hours per week) Career Navigator. Join our team to make a difference in the lives of youth and young adults aged 14-22 who are involved with the Department of Youth Services. Working one on one with youth through their engagement in treatment and in the community, our focus is to assist them in preparing for success in employment by providing case management, job readiness, and employment opportunities.
Our programs follow a trauma informed care and positive youth development model with a strong focus on social change and healing/restorative justice.
Our participants are people who live within systems of oppression. Candidate must be reliable, and able to maintain appropriate, engaging relationships with youth facing barriers to employment. We work with young people throughout the 4 counties of Western Mass. Candidates must pass a CORI and background record check, have a reliable vehicle, and a safe driving record. Strong team, positive work environment, excellent training.
**$21.73-$23.05 depending on qualifications**.Community Action Pioneer Valley offers a supportive work environment, training, professional development and outstanding benefits.
