Senior Accountant

- Salary: £c45K depending on experience

We are a modern, established firm with a strong reputation for internal promotion. We are looking for an ambitious ACA/ACCA qualified (or finalist) Senior Accountant to support our partners and manage a portfolio of SME clients.

You’ll work closely with a Partner and be involved in managing a portfolio of SME clients—typically sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

• Supporting the Partner in managing client relationships
• Preparing and reviewing accounts and tax work
• Helping to supervise and mentor junior team members
• Assisting in business advisory work and, eventually, business development
• Audit experience is beneficial, though audit is a minor part of the role

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or a finalist) with a general practice background
• Experience with audit, accounting, and tax requirements for small owner‑managed businesses
• Ambition and leadership potential
• Experience or enthusiasm for business development is useful; mentoring will be provided
