VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a progressive and growing Chartered Accountancy practice to recruit a Chartered Accountant on a part-time basis (3 / 4 days per week). This opportunity would suit an experienced practice professional seeking greater flexibility while continuing to work closely with a varied and loyal client portfolio. The role offers significant autonomy, client interaction and the opportunity to play an important role within a well-established local practice.
The Role Working three of four days per week, you will support a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, providing accounts preparation, advisory support and client relationship management. The successful candidate will become a trusted point of contact for clients and work closely with senior leadership. What You Will Do Prepare and review year-end accounts for a varied client portfolio Support management accounts and financial reporting assignments Provide practical advice and guidance to business owners Review bookkeeping records and accounting systems Assist with tax compliance and planning assignments Build strong long-term client relationships Support junior team members where required Identify opportunities to improve client processes and efficiencies What's In It For You Flexible three or four day working week Competitive salary package on a pro-rata basis Supportive and collaborative working environment Varied and interesting client portfolio High level of client interaction and autonomy Modern systems and cloud accounting technology Opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the practice Requirements ACA or ACCA qualified Strong accountancy practice background Experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts Excellent client-facing and relationship-building skills Strong technical knowledge across accounts and tax compliance Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
