We are delighted to be recruiting for a Part-Qualified Accountant (Practice)/Business Services Semi-Senior to join a growing Business Services team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse client portfolio while receiving full support towards your professional qualifications and long-term career development.

Working closely with experienced managers and senior team members, you'll be involved in year-end accounts preparation, management accounts, VAT returns and a variety of client-facing responsibilities, helping businesses across a range of sectors achieve their financial goals. Prepare year-end accounts for a range of clients under FRS
102 (1A) and FRS
105. Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting. Complete and submit VAT returns accurately and on time. Support managers in delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services. Build strong professional relationships with clients and respond to information requests. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal procedures. Stay up to date with changes in accounting regulations and industry developments.

Work collaboratively across the Business Services team to meet client deadlines. Maintain accurate records, timesheets and work documentation. Gain exposure to wider service lines across the practice. About You Prior experience within an accountancy practice environment. AAT qualified or ACA / ACCA part-qualified (or finalist). A genuine desire to continue studying towards a professional accountancy qualification. Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.

Effective time management and organisational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. The ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. A proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Knowledge of Xero and IRIS would be highly advantageous.
