We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading independent accountancy firm in Northampton for a Senior Accountant with solid experience in practice and an eye on career progression.

You’ll be working closely with a broad range of clients — from sole traders and partnerships to OMBs, larger businesses, and HNWIs. This is a hands‑on role in a supportive, forward‑thinking team.

You’ll report directly to the Partners and play a vital role in the delivery of accounts and tax services using tools like Sage and IRIS.

• Accounts prep for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and charities
• Monthly/quarterly management accounts
• Workflow oversight and planning
• Client review meetings
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist level)
• Experienced in practice (essential)
• Ideally with experience using CCH, Xero, and other cloud accounting software
• Someone confident, motivated, and ready to take the next step in their career
