Mobile Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Mobile Vehicle Technician in Northampton, Northamptonshire. Duties of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:

Travel to customer locations across Northampton and surrounding areas to perform routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently as a Mobile Vehicle Technician
Service a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs)
Complete warranty repairs as required
Conduct vehicle health checks and advise customers on additional work needed
Ensure all tasks are carried out to manufacturer standards and highest quality
Deliver exceptional customer service, acting as a professional ambassador for the business
Complete all relevant paperwork and maintain accurate job records
Build and maintain strong relationships with local customers

Requirements of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:

Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Minimum of three years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience working on both passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) is desirable but not essential
Ability to work independently, managing your own workload effectively
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Full UK driving licence
Positive attitude and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
