Overview
Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic – Northampton. Salary: £32,000 basic salary depending on experience | OTE £38,000.
Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am – 12:30pm. Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

As a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic, you ll be responsible for servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs while ensuring every vehicle is completed to the highest manufacturer standards.
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work efficiently
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults across a range of vehicles
- Completing repairs and maintenance to manufacturer standards
- Carrying out vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where required
- Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and safety standards
- Accurately completing workshop documentation and job cards
- Working closely with the wider workshop team to deliver excellent customer service
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- At least 3 years experience within the automotive industry
- Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
- MOT Licence advantageous but not essential
- Your own tools and toolbox
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship
