VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

Location:

Northampton
Basic Salary: £33,600 Depending on Experience
OTE: £42,500

Hours:

Monday to Friday & Saturday on Rota (Paid as OT)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics while maintaining excellent productivity and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include:

· Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair work

· Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

· Using technical knowledge to resolve faults efficiently

· Completing work in line with manufacturer and company standards

· Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge and manufacturer training

· Completing Vehicle Health Checks in line with required processes

· Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and efficiently

· Supporting workshop productivity and customer satisfaction targets
 
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone with:

· NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

· Previous experience inspecting, servicing and repairing vehicles

· Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability

· Full UK Driving Licence

· Good communication skills

· A professional and quality-focused approach

· Previous franchised dealership experience is desirable but not essential

· MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous
