Head of ECommerce Product & Category

GSF Car Parts is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of eCommerce Product & Category to lead our online product and range strategy, develop and manage a team of Product Managers, and identify new opportunities to drive profitable growth.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for defining what we sell online and where we expand next. You will shape our category strategy, identify new market opportunities, and drive revenue growth through innovative products, supplier partnerships and routes to market.

Working closely with teams across the business, you will lead the development of both our core automotive offering and adjacent categories such as tools, accessories, car care, workshop equipment and lifestyle products. You will also play a key role in expanding our eCommerce-only proposition through dropship partnerships and extended-range opportunities, enabling GSF to offer customers a broader and more compelling online experience.

• Developing and executing GSF's eCommerce product and category strategy.
• Identifying and launching new product ranges and categories to drive revenue and margin growth.
• Expanding the online range through eCommerce-only products and dropship suppliers.
• Building commercial business cases and growth plans based on customer, market and competitor insights.
• Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team of Product Managers.
• Driving accountability for category performance, revenue growth and profitability.
• Monitoring market trends, customer behaviour and emerging opportunities.
• Working cross-functionally with Trading, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Technology and Customer Service to deliver successful product launches and category growth.
• Taking ownership of commercial performance across new and expanding categories, including revenue, margin, conversion and average order value.

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to deliver meaningful commercial growth through productive range expansion, whilst building a high-performing Product Management function capable of supporting GSF's ambitious growth plans.

We're looking for an entrepreneurial and commercially focused digital retail leader who combines strong strategic thinking with the ability to turn opportunities into results.

• Significant experience within eCommerce, category management, buying, product management, range development or digital trading.
• A proven track record of delivering incremental revenue through new products, categories or commercial propositions.
• Experience expanding beyond an organisation's traditional product range.
• Strong commercial understanding of revenue, margin, pricing and promotional performance.
• Experience developing supplier relationships and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate customer and market insights into commercial decisions.
• Experience building business cases, forecasts and investment plans.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing Product Managers or category teams.
• The confidence to challenge established thinking and identify new opportunities for growth.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• The ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on delivery.

Experience working with marketplace, dropship or extended-range business models would be highly advantageous.
