Room Leader - Northampton

The Role:

We are looking for a caring, confident leader with strong organisational skills and a genuine passion for supporting young children, to work as a Room Leader within one of partner Nurseries in Northamtpon.

As Room Leader for the 0-2s, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the baby and toddler room. You'll lead a small team to provide a calm, loving, and stimulating environment, supporting each child's physical, emotional, and developmental milestones. You'll take responsibility for planning activities, observing progress, communicating with parents, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and care are maintained throughout the day.

The Nursery is a warm, family-run nursery known for its nurturing approach and close relationships with families.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver sensory and developmental play experiences tailored to each child's age
• Supervise staff and maintain a consistent, high-quality daily routine
• Monitor children's development and share updates with parents
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment

Prerequisites:

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher
• Experience leading or working within a baby/toddler room
• In-depth understanding of EYFS and safeguarding
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisation skills
