3D Recruit is proud to be supporting Northamptonshire Children's Trust in recruiting a dedicated and skilled Children's Support & Safeguarding Social Worker. This is a vital statutory role focused on protecting and promoting the welfare of children and young people, working with families at times of significant risk and crisis.

You will deliver high-quality social work services at a level appropriate for a professionally qualified practitioner, ensuring children are safeguarded and protected in line with legal and statutory obligations. This is a fast‑paced and challenging role that requires sound professional judgement, strong assessment skills, and a child‑centred approach.

• Undertake statutory child and family assessments, planning and interventions
• Manage complex safeguarding and child protection cases
• Develop and implement robust plans to reduce risk and promote safety
• Work directly with children and families experiencing crisis or high levels of need
• Prepare high-quality reports and contribute to legal processes where required
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children
• Maintain accurate and timely case records in accordance with legislation and local policy

• Degree or Masters in Social Work
• Social Work England registration
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience within children's services
• Proven experience in support and safeguarding / child protection work
• Strong knowledge of UK children's legislation, statutory guidance, and thresholds
• Ability to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment
• Right to work in the UK
