Freelance Site Manager – Industrial Shed Build

We’re recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to deliver an industrial shed / warehouse build project in Northampton.

You’ll be the number one on site, taking full responsibility for day-to-day operations and driving the job through from groundworks to steel frame, cladding, externals and handover.

Responsibilities

* Managing day-to-day site activities and programme

* Overseeing subcontractors and site labour

* Maintaining high health & safety standards

* Coordinating with PM, engineers and commercial team

* Quality control and ensuring works meet spec

* Client and consultant liaison

* Problem solving and keeping works progressing

Requirements

* Strong experience managing industrial / warehouse / shed builds

* Good knowledge of steel frame & envelope packages

* Proven ability to run a site independently

* Organised, proactive and confident communicator

Certs Needed

* SMSTS

* CSCS (Black/Gold preferred)

* First Aid
