Golden Fox Recruitment is proud to be supporting a leading Asbestos Management Consultancy with an outstanding reputation within the asbestos industry. Due to the successful acquisition of several new contracts, our client is looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor ideally based in or around Northampton.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established consultancy that genuinely invests in its people and offers clear opportunities for long-term career development.

The Role

Initially, you will be working on a long-term housing contract covering Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire and parts of East Anglia. Unlike many similar opportunities, no London travel is required, allowing you to focus on a manageable regional patch

Following an initial 3 month period, there will be opportunities to become involved in a wider range of commercial projects, providing additional variety and exposure to different sectors.

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will:

* Carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos Surveys in accordance with HSG
264 guidance

* Collect bulk samples for laboratory analysis

* Produce accurate and comprehensive asbestos survey reports

* Ensure all work is completed in line with current legislation and company procedures

* Provide a professional service whilst maintaining strong client relationships

​​​​​What will you need?

* BOHS P402 Qualification or RSPH Level 3 in Asbestos Surveying

* Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification asbestos surveying experience

* Experience carrying out asbestos surveys independently

* Excellent communication and client-facing skills

* Strong attention to detail and report-writing ability

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Professional and self-motivated approach to work

* Basic salary of up to £40,000 (DOE)

Our client is also interested in speaking with experienced freelance Asbestos Surveyors.

* Day rate of £250 + mileage (negotiable for the right candidate)
