Senior Quantity Surveyor London (Hybrid Working Available) Permanent Opportunity £70,000 - £90,000 Benefits Panoramic Associates is supporting a growing design, construction, and fit-out specialist with the appointment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business that delivers a diverse portfolio of projects across the commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, and public sectors.
Operating as a fully integrated design-and-build contractor, the organisation provides end-to-end project delivery, from concept and design through to construction and completion. With a strong pipeline of secured work and a reputation for delivering high-quality projects, they are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the commercial management of multiple projects and support continued business growth. The successful candidate will work closely with Directors, Project Managers, and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered commercially, contractually, and financially in line with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Managing all commercial aspects of projects from pre-construction through to final account Producing accurate cost plans, forecasts, valuations, and cost value reconciliations Leading subcontract procurement and managing tender processes Preparing, negotiating, and administering subcontract agreements Managing variations, change control processes, and commercial risk Preparing and submitting interim applications for payment Negotiating and agreeing final accounts with subcontractors and clients Maintaining registers of change and ensuring contractual compliance Issuing accurate and timely notices, correspondence, and contractual documentation Working closely with project delivery teams to monitor project performance and profitability Liaising with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Supporting the implementation of commercial best practice, governance, and reporting processes About You The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction, fit-out, refurbishment, or design and build sectors Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial management processes Experience managing projects through the full project life cycle Excellent understanding of procurement, subcontract management, and change control Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and mitigate risk Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline (preferred) Interested?
