Assistant​/Intermediate Project Manager

gap construction are proud to be representing a well-established, independent construction consultancy in their search for an Assistant / Intermediate Project Manager to join their growing Northampton office.

Assist in the delivery of construction projects from inception through to completion across all RIBA stages
Support Senior Project Managers with project planning, programming and reporting
Coordinate consultants, contractors and design teams throughout the project lifecycle
Attend client, design and site meetings, preparing accurate minutes and action trackers
Monitor project progress, identifying risks and helping ensure projects remain on programme and within budget
Assist with contract administration and procurement activities where required
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key project stakeholders
Ensure projects are delivered in line with health and safety and statutory requirements

Degree qualified in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Previous experience within a construction consultancy or contractor environment
Excellent communication and organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem solving
Keen to develop a long-term career in project management
Working towards, or interested in achieving, professional chartership (APM, RICS or similar)
Full UK Driving Licence preferred
