Provided on selected sites Higher rates available for certain projects/sites Turner Lovell are currently recruiting experienced Mechanical Site Supervisors to support major HV substation projects across Scotland. The successful candidate will support the General Site Manager, providing day-to-day supervision of mechanical works and overseeing specialist subcontractors and trade teams. Previous UK HV substation experience is essential. Duties Supervise mechanical works and specialist subcontractors on site.

Support the General Site Manager with day-to-day site supervision. Monitor installation works, progress and workmanship. Carry out site inspections and paperwork checks. Ensure RAMS, PPE and site HSE requirements are followed. Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers and the wider site team. Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Supervisor / Mechanical Supervisor. UK HV substation experience - essential. Experience overseeing and coordinating subcontractors.

Strong knowledge of RAMS, PPE, site inspections and construction paperwork. SMSTS / SSSTS - essential. CSCS - essential. SSE CAT 1, 2 or 3 - highly desirable.
