Locum Dentist

Flourish Medical is seeking an experienced Locum Dentist to join a network of busy NHS and mixed dental practices in the Northampton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for GDC-registered dentists with an NHS Performer Number who want flexible working, competitive daily rates, and exposure to a variety of clinical settings.

You’ll work in modern, well-equipped practices with friendly teams, providing NHS and private care to established patient lists.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and relevant UK dental experience. Applications not meeting these criteria will not be considered.

• Flexible, variable shifts across Northampton and nearby areas
• Competitive pay of £450-£550 per day
• Access to modern surgeries with digital equipment (scanners, digital X-rays, rotary endo)
• Supportive teams for both clinical and administrative guidance
• Travel expenses may be reimbursed for certain sites
• Freedom to select materials and labs for treatments
• Opportunity to work across multiple NHS, private, and mixed practices, gaining broad experience

• Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
• An active NHS Performer Number (preferred)
• At least 1 year of UK post-qualification dental experience
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Confidence providing both NHS and private treatments
• A professional, reliable, and adaptable approach

• Delivering high-quality NHS and private treatments
• Maintaining and growing patient lists
• Identifying and providing private treatment options
• Creating and fitting crowns and retainers where required
• Keeping accurate, compliant clinical records
• Collaborating effectively with a supportive dental team
